Space Renegades: The Series features two games:
Space Renegades 1 is a souped up version of Space Invaders. It’s a very small game that has power-ups and ship changes. Adam, the space ranger, has lost all of his money and needs to make it back. He gets a loaner ship from a friend to capture criminals and earn money. Weird thing is, there was a hit put on him, so criminals are trying to find him as well.
Space Renegades 2 is a vertical space shooter that has some of Space Invaders qualities. It’s a very large game that features power-ups, ship upgrades, a storyline, and bosses. Adam now has a partner Kim. They have become a well known Ranger team. The crime lord from a distant planet that put the hit out on him in Space Rangers 1 was actually impressed by Adam’s abilities and wants Adam to join him.

Of course Adam said no. So now the crime lord has kidnapped Adam’s family to make him join his team and has sent a fleet of his finest army to pursue him and make sure he comes along.
